Myrtle Beach, S.C. - North Greenville claimed 11 - podium spots including three first place finishes and several NCAA provisional times to mark a successful weekend at the Conference Carolinas Championships. The Trailblazers finished third overall marking its second consecutive top - three finish as a team.
Emery Lindsey led the way on the track, capturing first place in the 800m with a time of 2:15.29, while Cecily Anderton delivered a standout distance double, winning the 1000m and placing second in the 5000m (18:34.11). Riley Shope also secured a victory in the 3000m steeplechase (11:33.66) and added a fifth-place finish in the 5000m.
In the sprints, Bre'Asia Robinson posted an impressive 11.67 in the 100m to finish third and hit a national qualifying mark, while also placing fifth in the 200m (24.77). Kathleen Dombroski contributed with a fourth-place finish in the 400m (55.87) and a 25.31 effort in the 200m. Ariana Lemieux added points in the 400m hurdles with a third-place finish.
The distance group showed depth, with Ellie Timmons placing fifth in the 1500m (4:53.56), and Paris Alsup and Christiana Gidney finishing seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 10,000m. Riley Nicholson added a third-place finish in the 800m (2:20.09).
In the field events, Remiah Stripling took third in the triple jump (10.95m), while Elise Smith (37.45m) and Lauren Baker (37.27m) placed third and fourth in the javelin. Nevaeh Pereira added an eighth-place finish in the same event.
The 4x400 relay team of Lemieux, Lindsey, Nicholson, and Dombroski capped the meet with a third-place finish, rounding out a well-balanced showing for North Greenville across both track and field events.
