Central, S.C. - North Greenville women's track and field turned in a strong all-around performance highlighted by multiple event victories on the track and in the field.
Bre'Asia Robinson led the sprint group with a first-place finish in the 100 meters with a time of 12.16. Robinson also added a third-place finish in the 200 meters (25.12) and helped power North Greenville to a first-place finish in the 4x100 meter relay (48.08).
Kathleen Dombroski delivered one of the top performances of the meet, winning the 400 meters in 56.05 while also finishing second in the 200 meters (24.87). Dombroski was also a member of the winning 4x100 relay team.
Ariana Lemieux captured a victory in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:05 and added a fourth-place finish in the 100 meter hurdles (16.37). Lemieux also ran on the first-place 4x100 relay team.
Destiny James contributed to the relay victory and finished eighth in the 100 meters with a time of 13.12.
In the distance events, Cecily Anderton paced the Crusaders with a first-place finish in the 5000 meters (18:27), narrowly edging teammate Riley Shope, who finished second in 18:28. Paris Alsup added a fifth-place finish in the 5000 meters (19:12), while Christiana Gidney placed 10th in the 1500 meters (5:22) and 10th in the 5000 meters (19:42). Addison Martin also competed in the 1500 meters, finishing seventh with a time of 5:18.
Riley Nicholson earned a podium finish in the 800 meters, placing second with a time of 2:25.
North Greenville also saw strong results in the field events. Ella Davidson earned a first-place finish in the discus with a throw of 34.97 meters, while also finishing eighth in the shot put (9.90 meters) and seventh in the hammer throw (33.02 meters).
Elise Smith captured another event win for the Crusaders with a first-place throw in the javelin at 39.83 meters. Lauren Baker placed fifth in the javelin (33.44 meters), and Nevaeh Pereira finished seventh (32.50 meters).
In the jumps, Remiah Stripling secured a second-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 10.08 meters, while Shachia Paul placed sixth in the long jump (3.68 meters).
