The Conference Carolinas announced that nine Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball programs including North Greenville earned the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2021-22 academic year. To be eligible for the award, programs must maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale. North Greenville women's volleyball has earned the honor every year since 2016.

NGU will begin the 2022 season on Friday, August 26th in Charlotte, North Carolina in the Queens University Tournament.
