The North Greenville Trailblazers have been picked to finish eighth in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Preseason Poll.

North Greenville received 118 points in the preseason poll, placing the Trailblazers eighth among the conference's 16 teams. The poll was voted on by the league's head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own teams.

The Trailblazers enter 2026 after finishing last season with a 5-10-3 overall record and a 5-5-3 mark in Conference Carolinas play. NGU advanced to the Conference Carolinas Tournament after closing the regular season with a 1-0 victory over Lees-McRae before falling to Converse in the opening round.

Senior defender Jaycee Watkins, senior midfielder Finley Lloyd, and junior forward Ana Maria Pinzon were among North Greenville's Players to Watch.

Lloyd returns after tying for the team lead with four goals during the 2025 season. She started all 18 matches and played all 1,620 minutes while recording eight points on 12 shots. 

Watkins was a key piece of the North Greenville defense last season, appearing in 15 matches and starting all 15 while logging 1,262 minutes. She helped the Trailblazers record three shutouts during the year, including conference shutout victories over Emmanuel and Lees-McRae. Watkins also contributed offensively with nine shots.

Pinzon joins the Trailblazers after earning Second Team All-CAAC honors, giving North Greenville another experienced attacking option entering the 2026 campaign.

North Greenville's 2026 season will officially be under way tonight in Milledgeville, Georgia against the Bobcats of Georgia College & State University.
