Ansley Robinson has been named the Defensive Player of the Week by the Conference Carolinas, which announced the weekly award winner earlier today. Robinson has been a vital part of a defense that is currently firing on all cylinders. The Crusader defense has allowed just one goal during the program's current five-match winning streak. Ansley played all ninety minutes in both matches last week in a 2-0 win against Lees-McRae College and a 3-0 victory against Francis Marion University. The senior from Greer, South Carolina is currently second on the team in total minutes played with 702, which only trails goalkeeper
Samantha Montgomery who has recorded 720 minutes played.
NGU currently leads the conference with a 5-0 record in conference play and will return to action tonight against the Valkyries of Converse University in Sparanburg, South Carolina.
