Box Score The North Greenville Crusaders convincingly advanced to the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship with a one-sided 3-0 victory over the Braves of UNC Pembroke tonight in Bristol, Tennessee. NGU took set once 25-18 before completely dominating the second set 25-7. The final set proved to be a competitive one, but the Crusaders would once again come out on top, taking the set 25-18 to advance to the championship match.

Recap
- After UNC Pembroke took the opening point, NGU responded with four points including kills by Catherine Lant, Abigail Durham, and Erin Allen. The Braves would remain in striking distance until three straight kills forced the Braves to take a timeout with the score 15-10 in favor of the Crusaders. UNCP was able to cut their deficit back down to three, but a late 5-1 run would ultimately give NGU a 25-18 set win to start off the match.
- Erin Allen would start off set two with a kill to put up the first point of set two. After two kills by the Braves, the Crusaders took over by scoring nine of the next ten points to force a timeout by UNC Pembroke. North Greenville continued to carry the momentum after the timeout, scoring the next four including two service aces by Erin Allen. Another five point run later in the set would put things on ice. After a kill by the Indians, NGU would end the set scoring the final five points to dominate the second set with a score of 25-7.
- Set three began with an attack error that gave the Crusaders the opening point. UNCP evened up the score with a kill, but NGU would once again get going with a 4-1 run. From there the two teams would spend some time alternating points, allowing the Crusaders to hold on to a three point lead. North Greenville would then slowly build on their lead, eventually leading by as much as seven. However, the Braves did not go down without a fight, posting a 4-1 run to force an NGU timeout with the score 20-16 with the Crusaders in front. North Greenville would come out of the timeout scoring the next three points including two kills by Erin Allen. Abigail Durham posted the final kill to send NGU to the championship match.

- Erin Allen neared a double-double, recording twelve kills and eight digs.She also posted three block assists and three service aces.
- Abigail Durham matched Erin with twelve kills while also providing two digs and two assists.
