Recap

• Mount Olive got things started with a quick 5-2 lead. From there, the lead would change several times throughout the majority of the opening half. Tied at 24-24, the Crusaders would put together a 7-0 run to take a 31-24 lead. NGU went on to lead by as much as nine as Kameron Hobbs would close out the half with a three pointer to make the score 40-31 at halftime.
• The Crusaders continued to build up their lead to beging the 2nd half, leading by as much as 14 with Jacob Redding scoring six straight points. However, Mount Olive would post an 18-2 run to take a two point lead. Caleb Williams was able to stop the bleeding with a layup to tie the game back. From there, the Trojans would build up a small but comfortable lead that they would not relinquish. NGU would stay in the game, but Mount Olive would go on to take the win by eight.

• Jacob Redding put up 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block.
