North Greenville University baseball team, will always be known as one of the finest pitchers to take the mound in Crusader program history.  Provence began his career in 2009 and amassed 45 career starts, and posted a school record 28 wins over four seasons.

Provence led NGU baseball to its first ever National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) World Series Appearance in 2010.  The right-hander with a devastating slider earned the program’s first ever victory in an NCCAA World Series game, en route to its first championship. He saved his best for when it mattered most, compiling a 5-0 record in the post season, boasting an earned run average of 2.09, leading NGU to back to back World Series appearances (2010-2011).

For his career, Provence set a school record with a career ERA of 3.21.  He also possesses two single season records including wins in 2010 with 12, and earned run average with a 2.34 during the same season.  Provence struck out 247 batters at NGU and garnered several post season accolades including two NCCAA Pitcher of the year awards, as well as two First Team All-American nods. He was also named First Team All-Conference by the Conference Carolinas in NGU’s first season in the league.
