FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. — North Greenville volleyball fell to Emmanuel (Ga.) in straight sets Friday night, 25-11, 25-18, 25-20, at the Shaw Athletic Center.
The Trailblazers were led offensively by Samantha Ball, who finished with six kills, while Reagan Funderburk added five kills and Karson Haley recorded four. Allison Ball directed the North Greenville offense with 12 assists.
After dropping the first two sets, North Greenville found its offensive rhythm in the third, recording 11 kills while hitting .321. The Trailblazers battled throughout the final set but Emmanuel pulled away late to complete the sweep.
North Greenville finished the match with 24 kills, four service aces and two team blocks. The loss moves the Trailblazers to 4-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
