Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers secured a 69-58 victory over the Bruins of Carolina University this evening at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU pulled away late in the 1st half and held on in the 2nd half for a double-digit win. Over, NGU finished with a solid .466 field goal percentage. Although they struggled from the free throw line, North Greenville led the Bruins in points off turnovers 12-5, fast break points, 16-1, and second chance points 9-4.
Savion Brown led both teams in points, finishing with 17 as well as a rebound, an assist, a block, and a steal.
Ryan Djoussa posted 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Prince Jones-Bynum posted 8 points and 3 rebounds.
The Trailblazers will return to action on Saturday, January 17th against the Hawks of Shorter University at Hayes Gymnasium.
