The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College earlier this afternoon in Belmont, North Carolina with a final score of 3-1. North Greenville dominated the opening set, easily winning it with a score of 25-14 and posting an impressive attack percentage of .467 for the set. Set two contained several big momentum swings as the Crusaders dominated early on but NGU responded to get back into the set. A late run by BAC was followed by a late run by the Trailblazers. However, it would be Belmont Abbey who would score the final two points to narrowly take the set 25-23. An early run by the Crusaders would ultimately proved to be enough in set three as North Greenville cut the deficit down to two but was ultimately unable to even up the score. Belmont Abbey would take the set 25-17. NGU was able to get off to a fast start in set three, but several runs by Belmont Abbey would allow them to take over the set, winning it 25-20. Samantha Ball finished with 10 kills, 8 digs, 5 service aces, and a block assist.
