The North Greenville Trailblazers began the weekend with a 3-0 sweep of the Panthers of Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia. NGU completely dominated the opening set to easily take it 25-14. Set two proved to be the most competitive of the match. With the Trailblazers in control, the Panthers would put together a late three point run to close the deficit to two. However, North Greenville would score three of the final four points to win the second set 25-21. Set three began as a competitive one, but North Greenville would run away with a five point run to lead by seven. The Trailblazers would hang on to win the final set 25-18, finishing with an attack percentage of .224 for the match. NGU dominated the match with 8 service aces and 10 blocks.

Anna Fiddelke led NGU with 12 kills and also posted 4 block assists, 4 digs and 2 service aces. Samantha Ball posted 9 kills without an error along with 8 digs and 2 service aces. Peyton Taylor also provided 9 kills in addition to 12 digs, 2 blocks assists, a service ace, and a solo block.

North Greenville will return to action tomorrow against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in Belmont, North Carolina.
