The North Greenville Trailblazers dominated the night with nine total blocks, but otherwise fell behind to the Lions of Emmanuel University with a final score of 3-0 in Franklin Springs, Georgia. The first two sets were one-sided, with the Lions taking both of them with a score of 25-15. Set three proved to be more competitive, but Emmanuel would still hang on by a comfortable margin to take it 25-19. North Greenville trailed Emmanuel in kills, assists, and digs while being shutout 6-0 in service aces.
Samantha Ball led NGU in kills with 10 while also posting 7 digs and a block assist.
