The North Greenville Trailblazers dominated the night with nine total blocks, but otherwise fell behind to the Lions of Emmanuel University with a final score of 3-0 in Franklin Springs, Georgia. The first two sets were one-sided, with the Lions taking both of them with a score of 25-15. Set three proved to be more competitive, but Emmanuel would still hang on by a comfortable margin to take it 25-19. North Greenville trailed Emmanuel in kills, assists, and digs while being shutout 6-0 in service aces.

Samantha Ball led NGU in kills with 10 while also posting 7 digs and a block assist. Reagan Funderburk recorded 3 kills, 2 block assists, and a dig. Allison Ball provided 11 assists and 8 digs.

North Greenville will return to action on Friday, September 26th to face the Panthers of Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia.
