The North Greenville Trailblazers were able to hold onto a double-digit lead to beat the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan University with a final score of 82-72 in Central, South Carolina. NGU pulled away early on, building a big lead throughout the 1st half. The Trailblazers shot over 50% from the field in the half to take a 39-25 lead into halftime. NGU continued to lead by a comfortable margin early on in the second half, leading by as much as sixteen. Southern Wesleyan would put together a run to cut their deficit down to five points. However, the Trailblazers would reclaim the momentum to build the lead back up to double digits. One last run by the Warriors would once again cut the lead down to six. From there, free throws would allow NGU to end any doubt, ultimately leaving Central with a ten point victory. For the game, North Greenville shot .431 from the field including an impressive .577 percentage in the second half. The Trailblazers led in points in the paint 32-28 as well as second chance points 10-6.
Savion Brown recorded a 19 points performance along with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal.
Jacob Brown neared a double-double with 13 points and 9 rebounds while also providing 2 steals and an assist.

NGU will return to action in 2026, taking on the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College on Saturday, January 3rd in Belmont, North Carolina.
