North Greenville goalkeeper Ricardo Rodriguez has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region Men's Soccer 2nd Team. Marques is one of nine Conference Carolinas student-athletes to make the All-Region teams. He is the first NGU men's soccer player to be named to an All-Region team since joining the Conference Carolinas in 2013.
Marques, a senior from Lisboa, Portugal put together a historic season for the NGU Men's Soccer program, finishing the season leading the Conference Carolinas in goals allowed per match (0.69), save percentage (.838) and shutouts (9). He also allowed the least amount of goals (13) among goalkeepers in the Conference Carolinas who started twelve or more matches.
As a program, North Greenville allowed the fewest goals in the Conference Carolinas (14) and had the fourth-highest scoring margin (.45) in the conference. Overall, the 2025 season ended with an 11-6-3 record with a 6-4-3 record in conference play. NGU's eleven wins is the most in program history since joining the Conference Carolinas. The program also made history by advancing to the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship for the first time.
2025 D2CCA All-Southeast Region Men's Soccer Team
