The North Greenville Trailblazers put together a 58-57 victory over the 16th ranked Cougars of Columbus State University after Carter Bobbitt put up a go-ahead three points in the final seconds of the game. A competitive 1st half resulted in a 30-29 lead by Columbus State going into halftime. CSU took the momentum first in the 2nd half as NGU would trail by thirteen with 13:47 remaining. However, the Trailblazers were able to cut into the lead, facing just a one point deficit with 2:06 remaining in the game. Down by two, Carter Bobbitt would hit a go-ahead three pointer with two seconds left, North Greenville's first lead since the 11:22 mark in the 1st half. NGU finished with a .404 field goal percentage and led with thirteen 2nd chance points.

Carter Bobbitt put together a big afternoon, finishing with 26 points, 4 rebounds, an assist, and a steal. Jacob Brown posted a double-double with 10 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block. Josh Linder recorded 8 points and 5 rebounds.

NGU will face the Pioneers of Tusculum University on Tuesday, November 18th in the home opener at Hayes Gymnasium.
