Box Score Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders were able to get off to a fast start but ultimately fell to the Bobcats of Georgia College and State University this evening at Ray & Bea Dillard Field. An early lead by the Crusaders by way of RBI singles by Kaleb Hall and Bryce Roddey would not be enough as the Bobcats pulled away from the 2nd through the 8th innings with nine straight runs. NGU capped off the night with a three run home run by David Lewis in the 9th, but the deficit would be too much to overcome as the Bobcats would record the final out to secure the win. Nate Lamb was charged with the loss. With the loss, NGU will have to win four straight in order to advance to the Southeast Super Regional Tournament.

Kaleb Hall posted 2 hits with an RBI and a run scored. David Lewis hit a three-run home run in the 9th. Josh Williams recorded the only other extra-base hit of the game with a double.

NGU will return to action tomorrow at 2:00 PM against the Wingate Bulldogs in an elimination game.
