Box Score The North Greenville Crusaders suffered a 4-3 upset by the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Both teams scored early on as two runs in the bottom of the 1st for the Railsplitters was responded with a run in the top of the 2nd as well as a solo shot by Jake Sears in the top of the 3rd to tie things up. Lincoln Memorial reclaimed the lead in the top of the 5th by way of an RBI double. However, the Crusaders once again responded with a run as a passed ball allowed Zach Cowart to score. After four scoreless innings, the two teams would head to extra innings. NGU would go three up, three down in the inning. LMU was able to complete the upset with a leadoff home run in the bottom of the inning. Nate Roof took the loss.

Jake Sears went 2 for 4 at the plate including a home run, finishing with a run scored and an RBI. Kaleb Hall posted a hit as well as a run scored. Bryce Roddey recorded 2 walks and an RBI.

NGU will face the Hawks of Chowan University on Friday, April 19th in Murfreesboro, North Carolina.
