NGU's Alex Jones has been named Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week for week two of the 2024 season. The graduate student from Ontario, Canada put together an impressive performance as the goalie in a 11-9 upset against the 20th-ranked Trojans of Anderson University. Jones finished the evening with 16 saves and a save percentage of .640. In addition to the saves, he also picked up 3 ground balls.
