Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Emmanuel Lions this evening at Hayes Gymnasium with a final score of 3-0. NGU struggled on the attack throughout the night, finishing with a negative attack percentage. Set one proved to be a difficult one for the Trailblazers as Emmanuel would easily take it with a score of 25-11. NGU posted a -.097 attack percentage while the Lions posted an impressive .375 percentage. NGU improved in the second set, but Emmanuel would still control the set and went on to win it with a score of 25-15. Set three proved to be the most competitive of the match. However, North Greenville once again posted a negative attack percentage as Emmanuel would ultimately take the set with a score of 25-18.
Allison Ball provided seventeen assists as well as eight digs.
Taya Knier posted four kills without an attack error. She also recorded an assist, a service ace, a solo block, and a block assist.
Elena Dyer finished with five kills and a dig.
NGU will return to action on Saturday, October 12th against the Patriots of Francis Marion University at Hayes Gymnasium.
