The North Greenville Trailblazers were unable to hold on to a one set lead as after taking set one NGU ultimately dropped the next three to fall to the Mount Olive Trojans in Mount Olive, North Carolina with a final score of 3-1. North Greenville began the afternoon by winning set one with a score of 25-22. The Trojans bounced back in set two with a 25-18 set win. NGU impressed in set three with a .344 hitting percentage with twelve kills and just one attack error. However, Mount Olive put together impressive numbers in the set as well, posting twenty-one kills and a .459 hitting percentage to take the set 25-23. While the Trailblazers struggled in set four, UMO put together a .474 hitting percentage in the set to easily win it 25-13 to end the afternoon. NGU finished the afternoon with a .203 attack percentage for the match.
Anna Fiddelke finished with ten kills along with four block assists and two digs.
Elena Dyer also posted ten kills as well as five digs and three block assists.
Allison Ball provided sixteen assists, ten digs, and three service aces.
North Greenville will return to action on Monday, October 7th against the Shorter Hawks in Rome, Georgia.
