Box Score The North Greenville Trailblazers outlasted the Hawks of Shorter University in a five set thriller this evening in Rome, Georgia.NGU comfortably took the opening two sets, taking set one 25-16 and set two 25-19. However, the Hawks would put together a comeback by winning set three 25-22 as well as set four 25-23. North Greenville was able to pull away in set five, ultimately winning it 15-8 to put an end to the Shorter comeback. The Trailblazers ended the match with a .245 hitting percentage while holding Shorter to just a .147 percentage. 

Samantha Ball posted sixteen kills as well as five digs and a block assist. Elena Dyer finished with thirteen kills and a block assist. Anna Fiddelke recorded ten kills, three digs, and three block assists.

North Greenville will return to action on Wednesday, October 9th against the Lions of Emmanuel University at Hayes Gymnasium.
