NGU fell behind in the first half to trail by double digits going into halftime. However, the Crusaders bounced back in the second half and led by as much as five with less than two minutes. Young Harris would come back to tie the game as the two teams would head to overtime. The Mountain Lions would maintain a narrow lead throughout the overtime period. Trailing by three, NGU was able to put up a last second shot to potentially tie the game. However, the shot would bounce off the rim as Young Harris would hang on for the victory. The Crusaders ended the game with a .369 field goal percentage while the Mountain Lions put together a solid day offensively with a .482 field goal percentage.
