Box Score The North Greenville Crusaders jumped out to a 5-0 lead early on, but were unable to maintain the lead, ultimately falling to the Patriots of Francis Marion University with a final score of 12-7 in Duncan, South Carolina. NGU was able to get off to a fast start, taking a lead with two runs in the first, two runs in the second, and one run in the third. However, Francis Marion was able to get on the board with a run in the third and tied the score with a four run fourth inning. NGU reclaimed the lead with two runs in the fifth, but the Patriots would take over the game with six runs in the bottom of the inning. They would also collect an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth and hold on for the win. Ali Hartin was charged with the loss.
