Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders ended Thursday afternoon with 15-3 and 12-4 losses to the 21st ranked Eagles of Carson-Newman University at Jan McDonald Field. NGU was able to keep up with Carson-Newman in the hit column, finishing the day with just three hits less than the Eagles. However, the Crusaders were unable to avoid giving up the big inning as the Eagles would put together a nine run fourth inning in game one and a seven run inning in game two, both of which would lead to the game ending early due to the run rule. Maddie Gore and Sydney Clark picked up the losses.
