North Greenville wrapped up their weekend with a 3-0 sweep of the Chowan Hawks this afternoon in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. The NGU attack proved to be highly effective, finishing the day with 41 kills while committing just 6 attack errors. Set one finished with NGU posting a .324 attack percentage and winning the set 25-16. This would prove to be the most competitive set of the match as the Crusaders went on to record a .406 attack percentage in set two to take it 25-15. Then North Greenville would follow that up with a dominant set three, where they posted a .407 attack percentage and a 25-11 set win to finish things out. With the win, the Crusaders improve to 14-3 overall with a 6-0 conference record as well as a ten match winning streak.
Abigail Durham led in kills once again, finishing with 14. She also posted 10 digs to complete a double-double.
Elena Dyer continues her strong season with 10 kills, 2 solo blocks, and 2 digs.
Samantha Ball recorded 7 kills, 15 digs, and 4 service aces.
NGU will take on the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College on Tuesday, October 3rd at Hayes Gymnasium.
