Tigerville – Sydney Taylor has been promoted to head coach for North Greenville Women's Lacrosse after serving as the interim head for the 2022 season.
Taylor, who is a North Greenville lacrosse alum as goalie, lead the Crusaders to a 6 – 3 conference record last season and went 8-3 in home games.
As a player Taylor's name is scattered throughout the record books. She is first in program history in ground balls, ground balls per game, career wins, goals, against, and in saves, stopping 674 – shots in goal for North Greenville.
Before taking over last season, Sydney Taylor was an assistant for the Crusaders following her graduation.
"Sydney took over at the beginning of this season and did very well," remarked Jan McDonald, North Greenville's athletic director. "We're excited about the hire and look forward to her continued success in the future."
