Sydney Taylor enters her third year as head coach of the women's lacrosse program in 2024. A standout goalkeeper for North Greenville from 2016-2019, Taylor remained with the program after her playing career as an assistant coach for former head coach Brianna Temples before taking over the helm.

Taylor received multiple accolades throughout her collegiate playing career, including 2019 All-Conference Carolinas 1st Team, 2019 Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team, 2018 All-Conference Carolinas 2nd Team, 2018 Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team, and 2017 Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team. She wrapped up her playing career as the program career record holder in Saves (674),  Saves per Game (9.23), Save Percentage (.502), and Wins (42). She also holds the single-season record in Saves with 173 and also holds the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place spots.

Under Taylor's head coaching tenure, NGU has achieved two consecutive winning seasons as well as two victories in the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
