Box Score Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Wingate Bulldogs by a final score of 6-4 this afternoon at Ray & Bea Dillard Field. Wingate spent the majority of the game with a one run lead but was able to score two insurance runs in the later innings. Although North Greenville scored a run in the 9th, it would not be enough as the Bulldogs would hang on for the win. With the loss, NGU must win out in order to advance to the College World Series in Cary, North Carolina.
Josh Senter hit a home run and led the team with 2 RBIs.

- Wingate would get on the board in the 1st with a solo home run to left center. However, Josh Senter would respond with a two-run home run in the top of the 2nd to put the Crusaders up 2-1. The Bulldogs would quickly take the lead back with three runs in the bottom o fthe 2nd. John Michael Faile put the Crusaders back within a run with a solo home run down the right field line. Pitching would take over as innings 4-6 went scoreless. Wingate would end the scoring drought with an RBI single in the bottom of the 7th and a sacrifice fly in the 8th. Pat Monteith would put up a fight for NGU with a solo shot in the 9th, but it would prove to not be enough as the Bulldogs were able to hang on for the victory.
