Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 North Greenville ultimately shared the four-game doubleheader with the Belmont Abbey Crusaders by splitting the second doubleheader with final scores of 9-0 and 10-7 this afternoon in Belmont, North Carolina. NGU was shut out in game one but bounced back in game two, nearly doubling Belmont Abbey in hits for the game. Currently, NGU sits in second place in the Conference Carolinas standings with a 20-8 conference record just below the Mount Olive Trojans and just above Belmont Abbey.

• Zach Taglieri took the mound for game one, but would last just four innings and would allow eight runs, all of them earned. NGU would struggle offensively, posting just three hits for the game.
• Christian Ryder was the starting pitcher for game two. After Belmont Abbey took an early lead with a run in the 1st, the Crusaders would respond with four runs in the 3rd and four more in the 4th including home runs by Ethan Stringer and John Michael Faile. BAC would put up a fight with five straight runs, but North Greenville increased the lead back to three with two insurance runs in the 8th including RBI hits by Ethan Stringer and John Michael Faile. Belmont Abbey would score one more run in the bottom of the 8th, but Brent Herlong would ultimately earn the save, pitching the final 2.2 innings.
