Tigerville, SC - North Greenville maintained its undefeated record and also advanced to the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament with 3-1 and 3-0 victories over the Chowan Hawks and the Belmont Abbey Crusaders this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU was effective in limiting errors as they would not post an attack percentage below .229 throughout the day.
Erin Allen led the charge with 25 kills between the two matches.

- Match one began with a one-sided 25-13 set victory by the Crusaders. Chowan would come back strong with a 25-23 win in set 2. However, the Crusaders would then dominate the remainder of the match, taking set 3 25-12 and set 4 25-14. The Crusaders outperformed in terms of attack percentage in all four sets including an impressive .429 percentage in the opening set.
- Match two started with a competitive but comfortable 25-20 set win for North Greenville. After posting a .243 attack percentage in the opening set, NGU would vastly improve in set 2 with a .409 percentage to take the set 25-16. They would then nearly complete that performance with a .389 percentage to win set 3 25-17.
Individual
- Erin Allen posted a total of 25 kills in the two matches. She also provided 15 total digs.
- Paige Beisecker proved to be strong as well, recording 22 kills and 11 total blocks.
- Abigail Durham recorded 18 total kills and 5 block assists.
