• Logan Chapman started the game on the mound for NGU. After two scoreless innings, the Crusaders would get on the board when Doug Angeli hit a solo shot to left field. Two innings later, Josh Senter and John Michael Faile would hit home runs of their own to put the Crusaders up 4-0. Brady West would also score later in the inning by way of an RBI fielder's choice. North Greenville would add two runs in the 7th with a sacrifice fly by Ethan Stringer and an RBI single down the right field line by Brady West. Up 7-0, NGU would add five insurance runs in the 8th by way of Josh Senter, Cory Bivins, Zach Zarra, and Conner Driscoll each hitting an RBI single and Jax Cash driving in a run on a fielder's choice. Nathan Barolet would pitch the final inning to complete the shutout.
