Box Score Tigerville, SC - After trailing by three runs, the North Greenville Crusaders came through in the clutch late in the game with a run in the 8th and three runs including a walk-off single by Jared Williams in the 9th to beat the Catawba College Indians with a final score of 7-6. Over seven pitchers made appearances in the game and pitched one or more innings. Jared Williams and John Michael Faile both recorded four hits each. Kipp Rollings earned the win.
Innings 1-3 (3-3 Tied)
The Indians were first on the board with a sacrifice fly in the 1st inning and would add two additional runs in the 2nd inning by way of a sacrifice fly and an RBI groundout. North Greenville would come back to tie the game with three runs including an RBI single through the right side by Sean Parsons, a double play that allowed Lex Tuten to score, and an RBI single up the middle by Jared Williams. NGU threated to score in the bottom of the 3rd, but would leave the bases loaded.
Innings 4-6 (6-3 CAT)
With nothing going on in the 4th, Catawba took the lead back in the top of the 5th with a two RBI double to right center. A sacrifice fly would follow to put the Indians up by three. North Greenville had a chance to respond, but would leave the bases loaded for the second time in the game. Both teams would go scoreless in the 6th.
Innings 7-9 (7-6 NGU)
After a scoreless 7th inning, NGU would start the rally with an RBI single up the middle in the 8th. Heading to the 9th, John Michael Faile led off with a solo home run to left center. With the bases loaded, Williams would come through yet again with a two RBI single through the right side to give NGU the walk-off win.

Jared Williams had quite a day with 4 hits and 4 RBIs.
John Michael Faile also went 4 for 5 while scoring 2 runs and driving in 1.
Jeremy Whitehead went 3 for 5 with a sacrifice bunt.
