Game 1

Innings 1-2 (0-0 Tied)

Both teams began the game with a three up, three down 1st inning. After NGU failed to get on base in the top of the 2nd, Anderson did threaten by getting two runners on base as a result of a walk and a double. However, the next three batters would be retired by Griffin to end the threat.

Innings 3-4 (1-0 AU)

After the Crusaders again went three up, three down in the top of the inning, the Trojans put together their first run of the game in the bottom of the 3rd with an RBI groundout. Both teams would pitch a 1-2-3 inning in the 4th.

Innings 5-6 (2-0 AU)

NGU was able to get a runner on base for the first time in the 5th as a result of a walk by Jaelin Griffin. However, the next three at bats resulted in outs to end any threat by North Greenville. With a runner on 3rd in the bottom of the 5th, a sacrifice fly brought home the second run of the game for AU. The two teams went three up, three down in the 6th.

Inning 7 (2-0 AU)

After the first two batters were retired, Griffin came through again with a single to right field to break up the no-hitter. However, the final batter was retired to end the game.

Game 2

Innings 1-2 (0-0 Tied)

Brooke Wade instantly put the Crusaders into the hit column with a single to center field. However, the next three at bats would result in outs. In the bottom of the inning, three walks allowed Anderson to load the bases, but a big strike out by Callie Richards ended the threat.

Innings 3-4 (0-0 Tied)

The Crusaders went three up, three down in the top of the 3rd. After a leadoff double, the Trojans had a runner on third with one out, but more clutch pitching by Richards ended the inning. NGU went down in order for the top of the 4th while AU put up a base hit but nothing else in the inning.

Innings 5-6 (3-0 AU)

Madison Littlefield began the 5th with a leadoff double to right center. Although an error helped NGU advance on the bases, a run would not come across to score. With two on base, Anderson got on the board with an RBI single in the bottom of the 5th. The 6th inning saw a hit but nothing else for the Crusaders. The Trojans scored two more runs thanks to five singles in the inning including 2 RBIs to give AU a 3-0 lead.
