Greg Mosely enters his 17th season as the Head Coach of the North Greenville University Women’s Volleyball program.  Mosely has led NGU to a record of 290-209 (170-100 Conference Carolina’s), with 65 Conference Carolina’s All Academic scholar athletes, 34 All Conference award winners including three time Conference Carolina’s Offensive Player of the Year and AVCA All American Abigail Durham, Four time All Conference Middle Paige Campbell (Biesecker) and current M/RS three time All conference, former Freshmen of the Year, Anna Fiddelke.

Over the last 16 seasons Mosely’s teams have posted 20-win seasons 6 times and have averaged 18 wins during that.  In 2023 NGU posted a school record 23-7 mark, taking the west division championship and advancing to the CC tournament finals for the second consecutive year.  Mosely earned win number 200 at NGU with a 3-1 victory over Lees McCrae on 10/5/21.  Under Mosely’s leadership NGU has won Divisional Championships in 2017, 2020-21, 2021, 23,24 as well as CC women’s volleyball sportsmanship award in 2018. He was named Conference Carolina’s Coach of the Year after the 13-1 season in 2020/21.  Ten times his teams have earned the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) national academic award by maintaining a 3.3 or higher cumulative GPA.

Mosely’s came to NGU after spending 24 years in administration in several Private Christian schools throughout the Carolinas, serving as a vice principal, administrator and athletic director.  As a high school coach he has experienced success in both basketball and volleyball winning multiple conference, region and state titles and accumulating over 400 victories in each sport.

A graduate of Liberty University, Mosely played running back four seasons for the Flames.  In his senior season he was named Honorable Mention All American by the NCAA and NAIA.  Recently he was named to the LU “All Time Dream Team” by the Lynchburg News and Advance.  

Mosely completed his undergraduate degree in 1983 and graduate degree in Sport Management in 2006.  Mosely has one daughter Amber (NGU 05), Son in Law Clay (NGU 05), two grandchildren, Kyley (16), Clay Jr. (14).  Greg and his wife Cyndi live in Landrum, SC.
