Greenville, S.C. – North Greenville kicked off its 2026 season with a third place finish at the Furman Invitational Saturday morning. The Trailblazers were the top Division II finisher while also finishing ahead of one Division I squad. 

Led by Ellie Timmons, who finished 13th with a time of 22:18.1, NGU finished with 87 total points in a field of three Division I teams. Cecily Anderton followed in 17th at 22:32.3, while Corrie Reinhardt placed 25th in 23:05.7 and Riley Shope finished 27th in 23:17.0.

Ellie Blitch (33rd, 23:43.5) and Addison Martin (36th, 23:50.4) rounded out the Trailblazers' top six, with Lydia Timmons, Carson Lane, Betsy Dorriety and Esther Losh also competing for North Greenville.
