TRYON, N.C. — The North Greenville University women's cross country team turned in a strong performance at the Tryon Western NC XC Showcase, placing five runners inside the top 30 of the individual standings. The Trailblazers finished third overall just behind a pair of Division I programs. 

Ellie Timmons led the way for the Trailblazers, crossing the finish line in 10th place with a time of 18:26.6. Cecily Anderton followed closely behind, finishing 14th in 18:35.1, while Riley Shope posted an 18th-place finish in 18:47.9.

Corrie Reinhardt and Addison Martin rounded out NGU's top five, finishing 28th and 29th, respectively. Reinhardt recorded a time of 19:26.3, while Martin finished in 19:28.4.

Ellie Blitch added a 30th-place finish in 19:28.6, followed by Lydia Timmons in 41st at 19:58.4. Carson Lane finished 47th in 20:13.6, while Betsy Dorriety posted a time of 21:05.8 to finish 57th.

Lydia Gray and Esther Losh completed the NGU contingent, finishing 65th and 66th with times of 21:39.8 and 21:41.5, respectively.
