Rome, GA – North Greenville set a program record with 33 – goals scored on Wednesday in a 33 – 1 route of Shorter University.
The Trailblazers scored almost at will no Wednesday, doing most of damage coming in the first quarter where NGU scored 16 – times. The Castle brothers led the first quarter barrage with two goals each.
Steven Huls Jr. led the team with three scores. North Greenville led the entire game, adding seven goals in the second, four in the third, and sixth in the fourth. The Trailblazers scored 24 – unanswered before the Hawks put one in at the 10:45 mark of the third quarter.
Nathan Cox led NGU in total goals with four on the day. Huls,
Connor Castle, and
Tyler Cast finished with three goals each.
Brady Saba led all players with three assists.
Logan Calvo and Bennette Matsler each had five groundballs.
