Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers were victorious over the Bears of Truett McConnell University to start off a busy week with a 3-1 win at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU dominated early on, easily taking set one with a score of 25-14 as well as set two with a score of 25-13. However, the Bears would put up a challenge in set three, hanging on to win it 25-23. The Trailblazers would find themselves in a small deficit in set four, but would come back to win it 25-22. For the match, North Greenville finished with a .324 hitting percentage.and led in all major categories including a dominant 7-1 in service aces.
Logan Keothavy put together an impressive night with 14 kills and just 2 attack errors while also posting 3 digs, 2 assists, and a service ace.
Landon Richter recorded 9 kills without an attack error in addition to 3 solo blocks and 2 service aces.
Andrew Copp provided 39 assists and 3 digs.
The Trailblazers will take on the Erskine Flying Fleet on Wednesday, March 25th at Hayes Gymnasium.
