The North Greenville Trailblazers wrapped up their road trip to Charleston, West Virginia with a 3-0 loss to the Golden Eagles of Charleston University. In a match that was much more competitive than yesterday's match between the two teams, Charleston was narrowly able to take the three sets, starting with a 25-21 set win, a 26-24 set win, and a 25-21 set win for the Golden Eagles. North Greenville improved from yesterday, finishing with a .143 attack percentage. Although NGU was dominated in service aces 8-1, the Trailblazers did lead in blocks 7-4.
Yoriano Velez Vega posted 12 kills, 7 digs, and 4 block assists.
JT McGuire finished with 8 kills, 6 digs, and an assist.
Andrew Copp provided 22 assists, 5 digs, and a block assist.
NGU will return to action on Friday, March 20th against the Bulldogs of Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina.
