Central, S.C. - North Greenville's men's track and field team produced several standout performances in both the throwing events and on the track during the meet, highlighted by a pair of event victories and multiple podium finishes.

Taylor Campbell led the field events with an impressive day in the throws. Campbell captured first place in the hammer throw with a mark of 53.10 meters, while also finishing third in the discus (42.36 meters) and third in the shot put (14.18 meters).

Troy Cocco added another victory for the Crusaders, winning the javelin with a throw of 64.20 meters. North Greenville had strong depth in the event as Christian Kaiser placed second (55.42 meters), Kyle Turpin finished fourth (54.09 meters), and Jaden Gaines recorded a sixth-place finish (49.27 meters).

In the shot put, J.J. Holt turned in a fourth-place finish with a throw of 13.55 meters, while A.J. Nash placed eighth in the shot put (12.75 meters) and seventh in the discus (39.16 meters).

On the track, Kaleb Stephens-Neal paced the sprinters with a third-place finish in the 100 meters (10.85) and a fifth-place finish in the 200 meters (22.08). Antonio Hatton also competed in the 100 meters, finishing eighth with a time of 11.11.

Tyshone Phelps delivered a strong performance in the hurdles, earning first place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.21 while also finishing fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (16.09).

In the middle-distance races, Josiah Ashton placed fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:58, while Ben Jaminet followed with a sixth-place finish in 2:01.

Rounding out the distance events, Chas Brewer recorded a sixth-place finish in the 5000 meters with a time of 16:13.
