Tigerville, SC - The newly top-ranked North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Trojans of Trevecca Nazarene University this afternoon at Ray & Bea Dillard Field with a final score of 5-1. NGU matched the Trojans in total hits, with each team finishing with six hits. However, three of TNU's hits resulted in home runs and five RBIs. NGU's only run of the game came in the 2nd inning when a fielder's choice by Connor McKee brought in KaI Tullos. Joseph Yamamoto took the start on the mound, but made it just 3.0 innings and was charged with the loss. The loss puts North Greenville at 19-3 for the season.

Landon Peavy was NGU's lone standout at the plate, finishing with 3 hits and a walk. Connor McKee posted a hit and NGU's only RBI of the game. Caleb Cox pitched 2.0 solid innings, allowing no runs, hits, or walks and struck out 3.

NGU and Trevecca Nazarene will face each other in the final game of the two-game series tomorrow at 3:30 PM at Ray & Bea Dillard Field.
