Tigerville – North Greenville's first win of the 2026 season was a big one as the Trailblazers earned a 12 – 6 win over #9 Florida Tech.
The Panthers took an early lead when they went up 2 – 1 over NGU. The Trailblazers got an equalizer by
Caden Castle with 3:57 left in the first quarter. It would be the first of four consecutive goals for North Greenville.
Aydan Sizemore's goal with 3:06 left in the quarter would give NGU the lead it would never relinquish.
North Greenville outscored the Panthers 2 – 1 in every quarter after the 6 – 3 first to keep Florida Tech at arms length all game. The Trailblazers connected on 12 of its 39 – shots and caused nine turnovers in the process. NGU goalie
Matthew Desmond finished the day with 15 – saves.
Caden Castle led NGU with four goals and he also dished out three assists in the winning effort. Miller Yates scored two goals while
Nick Meier had two goals and two assists.
Dalton Wilkins led with NGU with four turnovers.
