TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The North Greenville University men's track & field team turned in a competitive showing this weekend, highlighted by strong distance performances and a solid effort in the field events.
In the 3,000 meters, North Greenville placed three runners in the field, led by Chas Brewer's fifth-place finish with a time of 9:12. Joseph McBride followed with a 13th-place result in 8:56, while Joel Herman crossed the line 23rd in 9:07.
Herman returned later in the meet to deliver one of the Trailblazers' top performances of the day in the 5,000 meters. He placed seventh overall with a time of 15:38, showing strength and consistency across both distance events. Josiah Ashton added a top-10 finish in the 5,000, placing 10th with a time of 16:01 to round out a productive day for the distance squad.
In the field events, Taylor Campbell represented North Greenville in the shot put, finishing 12th with a throw of 13.57 meters.
