Second Half Goals Lead to Draw with Mount Olive

A second half goal by both teams led to a 1-1 draw between North Greenville and the Mount Olive Trojans this afternoon in Mount Olive, North Carolina. NGU posted three shots in both halves for a total of six shots for the afternoon. In the 55th minute, Holly Lanter would find the back of the net with an assist by Emma Dennison. However, less than seven minutes later, UMO would even things up with a goal of their own. Ultimately, time would expire as both teams even with their first draws of the season.

Holly Lanter posted a goal and 2 shots on goal. Emma Dennison provided an assist as well as a shot on goal. Angeline Montoya posted 3 assists with no goals allowed in one half played.

The Trailblazers will take on the Valkyries of Converse University on Wednesday, October 1st in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
