Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers put together a successful afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium, defeating the Erskine Flying Fleet with a 3-0 sweep. All three set proved to be competitive, but NGU would come out on top each time, winning set one 25-20, set two 25-22, and set three 25-23. North Greenville finished the afternoon slightly trailing in overall attack percentage, finishing at .220. However, NGU outscored the Flying Fleet in kills, service aces, blocks, assists, and digs.
Michael de la Cruz had an impressive senior day, posting twelve kills without a single attack error. He also posted two service aces, two block assists, and a dig.
Carter Shomock recorded ten kills, four digs, and a service ace.
Logan Keothavy finished with nine kills, six digs, two service aces, a block assist, and an assist.
NGU will wrap up the regular season against the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College on Saturday, April 12th in Belmont, North Carolina.
