The North Greenville Trailblazers wrapped up the regular season with a 3-1 loss to the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina. BAC took the first two sets of the match with score of 25-23 and 25-22 before NGU was able to respond with a 25-19 set win to get on the board. However, Belmont Abbey would control things in set four, going on to win it convincingly with a score of 25-13 to end the night. North Greenville finished with a .162 attack percentage while trailing in kills, aces, blocks, assists, and digs. With the loss, the Trailblazers finish the regular season with an overall record of 10-12 with a 7-7 record in conference play. They enter the Conference Carolinas Tournament as the #4 seed.
Benjamin Andexler posted twelve kills, two digs, and a block assist.
Carter Shomock finished his regular season with eleven kills, six digs, and two block assists.
Michael de la Cruz recorded nine kills without an attack error, seven block assists, three digs, and an assist.
NGU will face the Flying Fleet of Erskine College on Wednesday, April 16th at Hayes Gymnasium in a quarterfinal match up of the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
