Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers dominated a windy night at Pepsi Stadium as NGU easily defeated the Fighting Scots of Edinboro University with a final score of 18-3. North Greenville jumped out ahead early, scoring all six goals of the 1st quarter. NGU also scored the first four goals of the 2nd quarter to lead 10-0 before Edinboro was able to get on the board with their first goal of the game with just over two minutes remaining in the quarter. Both teams would score one last goal as the Trailblazers would go into halftime with an 11-2 lead. Scoring would slow down in the second half, with North Greenville scoring three goals while allowing just one. The Fighting Scots were shut out in the 4th quarter while the Trailblazers scored four more goals, ultimately ending the night with a fifteen point victory. North Greenville dominated in total shots 40-8 while also leading in ground balls 16-6 and draw controls 16-9.
Lauren Crane finished the night with four goals, five draw controls, two ground balls, and a caused turnover.
Ava Walls also impressed with three goals, two assists, and a ground ball.
