Trailblazers Fall to Savannah in Non-Conference Lacrosse

Tigerville – North Greenville fell to Savannah College of Art and Design on Saturday 20 – 8 in non-conference action. 
 
North Greenville and the Bees drew equal after one quarter of play. The Trailblazers took a two goal lead after back-to-back scores for Lauren Crane to make it 3 – 1. SCAD scored twice in the final minute of play to even the tally. The two goals to end the first period were part of a 10 – run for SCAD which also included eight unanswered scores in the second period. 
 
North Greenville tried to battle back in the third quarter scoring five goals in the third quarter but it was equaled by SCAD. The Bees finished off NGU in the fourth with four unanswered goals. 
 
Lauren Crane and Ava Wells led North Greenville with three goals each. Crane also had a team high three draw controls and a pair of groundballs.
