Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers wrapped up the weekend with a 3-0 loss to the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive on a rainy afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU struggled with their attack game, posting a .155 attack percentage for the match. UMO thoroughly controlled the opening set, winning it 25-18. Although North Greenville's attack percentage lowered in the second set, the score proved to be closer than the opening set, with Mount Olive taking it 25-20. It would be more of the same in the third set as the Trailblazers posted their lowest attack percentage of the match with a .097 percentage for the set. However, it would be a slim set win for the Trojans with a score of 25-22.
Carter Shomock neared a double-double, posting twelve kills and nine digs as well as a solo block and a block assist.
Michael de la Cruz recorded eight kills, an assist, and a dig.
Thomas Roper finished with six kills, six digs, and an assist.
NGU will return to action on Tuesday, February 18th against the Lions of Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
